Comments:
VIA Technologies Via AC '97 various chips Driver. Download the ComboAudio_v3.80a.zip file, unzip or extract to a folder for your sound drivers. The next step is to go to Device Manager, Select your problematic sound device, go into its properties and select Update Driver, from there select the option to specify a location for the driver, then select Have Disk..from there browse through the directory listing to the place where you put your extracted drivers, look for the 68 and the 74 Directories, for most chipsets as with the UWAVE2 motherboard go to the 68 directory then click on the Win9x directory. A vxd driver should be showing in the box to the left, click OK to use that path for the driver installatiuon. Once the files for the drivers are installed Restart your computer and you should have sound. If you are a stickler for detail I will post another site for the motherboard OEM next
