I downloaded dozens of drivers from PC-Chips, MSI, Amptron, SiS, DriversGuide, none worked.
Look for a tiny chip near PCI slots labeled "CMI9738" its a C-Media 4 channel sound chip.
I got files from C-Media site, unzip and run setup. All is good in the universe now. Hope it dorks for you too!
