Comments:
Packard Bell Driver. This is a software patch for use with Packard Bell computers equipped with Crystal Audio drivers in which loud, intermittent noises are produced (even when no other sound events are active). I have a Multimedia 730 MII-266MHz CyrixInstead 6x86MX processor and Crystal Award Audio version 2.7 and had this problem. This patch fixed it.
