OPTi 82c931 Driver. go here ftp.opti.com/pub/chipsets/sound/82c931/index.htm
and download the microsoft windows 95 combo drivers. it's 931w95c.zip. i'm using windows 98 and the drivers 931w95.exe that's suppose to work didn't work. just when i was about to throw my card out, i experimented with the combo drivers and it works. unzip it, run set up, then reboot and it should look for drivers called "opti sound 16." instead of looking for the drivers for that device, it finds your opti plug-n-play sound device. it will ask for some *.dat file. insert ur windows 98 disk, and look in folder called drivers, then audio, then opti, then opti931. reboot again and there u go, ur opti 82c931 sound card is as good is new. it took me a very long time to get this sound card working, i searched this site and the drivers found here still don't work so if you have need help, email me and i'll see what i can do. =)
