ForteMedia FM801A Driver. I noticed a few people looking for this driver (it's also why I joined this site in the first place).
File Contents: This is a driver that will work with sound cards fitted with the ForteMedia FM801A chip. At first install and reboot I couldn't get any sound output, so I "removed" all recognized sound devices from device manager, shut down the computer and pulled the sound card. Then restarted the computer without the sound card fitted, shut down once again, fitted the sound card and rebooted the computer. Sound card was then finally detected by plug & pray and worked fine.
NOTE Just removing and refreshing in device manager installed the card/drivers, but gave no sound output. The run-around method above may be clumsy, but it worked!
