ESS Technologies Presario 7000 Series Driver. This is the Windows 98 version of Compaq's Presario 7000 series drivers for the ESS Allegra PCI Audio (WDM) sounds card. I downloaded the SP12528.exe from there website... and it installed correctly.. but then when I rebooted it asked for files which were not provided.. these are the files that are in the SP12528.exe... I copied them before the extractor erased them from the system folder... hope they can help someone.. they helped me a lil... sound still not workin tho.. peace and laterz..§Dude§
