ESS Technologies ESS 1869 Driver. IF YOU OWN A COMPAQ PRESARIO 1255 MODEL NOTEBOOK AND REQUIRE THE RIGHT AUDIO DRIVER FOR YOUR SYSTEM, LOOK NO FURTHER!!! This driver will work perfectly with systems running win98. I could not find this driver anywhere on the net, it was sent to me by a good friend who use to work with Compaq. There are other versions of the ess 1869 driver around which did not have any effect on my system. This should work with most Presario 1200 models. Good luck!!!
