Download the drivers to a temp directory on your hard drive.

In Explorer, navigate to the temp directory. Double click on the "w9x2048_full.exe" file to extract the drivers. Remove your current Vortex sound card drivers by going to Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs and selecting Aureal Vortex AU8830.

Reboot your system when the uninstall has completed. When Windows restarts, it will detect new hardware. When it asks for drivers, point it to temp directory you unzipped the files to in steps 2 and 3. These drivers do contain the latest A3D Drivers, so there is no need to download them.
